L.L. Stub Stewart State Park offers RV, cabins, tent and horse camping sites; day-use areas; multi-use non-motorized trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding; a disc golf course; an interpretive center; and access to the Banks-Vernonia State Trail. Trek in deep canyons or picnic in the shade, follow a woodland trail into the far reaches of the park.
After a stretch in the sun, choose a quiet campsite or cozy cabin to relax under the stars. The park has 21 miles of paved/multi-use trail (Banks-Vernonia State Trail); 20 miles of natural surface trails; 21 holes of disc golf; 8 miles of mountain bike-specific trails; a trail-based orienteering course; geocache sites; and wildlife viewing areas. Park rangers offer guided hikes/tours, campground activities and programs, and an interpretive/discovery center (exhibits and activities).
Hours: The park and trails are open from dawn to dusk; overnight camping is available
