WASHINGTON COUNTY HOTEL PERFORMANCE: JANUARY 2023

The first month of 2023 is starting on a high note. According to STR, which provides market data on the hotel industry around the globe, hotel performance in January has reached levels that Washington County hotels haven’t reach since 2016.

In January, hotel occupancy reached 61.3%, a number our local hotel industry hasn’t seen since 2016, when occupancy was 62.3% for the month. Currently, Washington County has 6,029 rooms in its inventory, compared to 4,882 in 2016.

The following charts depict Washington County’s hotel performance in January over the past five years, from 2018-2023 in three key performance areas: Occupancy (OCC), Average Daily Room Rates (ADR) and Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR).
